Campus Plan

The Oakland University Campus Plan is a physical manifestation of the pathways and initiatives outlined in the University's Strategic Vision 2030. Through focused discovery and collaboration with the campus community, the Campus Plan will help elevate OU among academic communities and promote it as a distinctive cultural destination with outstanding academic programs, a vibrant campus life and a unique sense of place.

The Campus Plan is a living document that acknowledges OU's past development and weaves those attributes into the next decade of OU's growth. As a 21st-century university, priorities include thoughtful adaptation to the student enrollment number, enhancement of residential experience, stewardship for sustainability and revenue diversification that tailors to the future. Connecting over 30 pathways described in the Strategic Vision 2030, the current plan is a culmination of hours of thoughtful discussion among students, staff and faculty.
